Review

Firstly can we just take a moment to appreciate the cover of this book?! I absolutely love the colours and the image!

Okay, have you ever read a book that has just completely transported you to another country or made you want to go visit it? I feel like this is what The Colour of Thunder did for me. I honestly felt like I could visualise Hong Kong! I honestly haven't read many books that have been set in Hong Kong and now I just want to to go visit it!

I really liked the characters in this book, even the shady ones! I felt like each one had their own unique personalities that made them stand out in the story. I never once got confused over who anyone was and I loved getting each of their back stories.

I loved the puzzle element to this book in terms of figuring out how these characters are all linked. The way that every little detail is important and how it all comes together in the end. It left me feeling satisfied.

I wish I could talk more about it but I'm too afraid I'm going to spoil it so please just go read it!

The Colour of Thunder was so well written and had me on the edge of my seat! I definitely recommend this one to anyone who loves a good mystery! Full of twists and turns this book had me on the edge of my seat wanting more!
