Strangers by C.L. Taylor - Book Review

Thank you to Tandem Collective UK and Avon Books for sending me a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Goodreads Synopsis

Ursula, Gareth and Alice have never met before.

Ursula thinks she killed the love of her life.

Gareth’s been receiving strange postcards.

And Alice is being stalked.

None of them are used to relying on others – but when the three strangers’ lives unexpectedly collide, there’s only one thing for it: they have to stick together. Otherwise, one of them will die.

Three strangers, two secrets, one terrifying evening.

Review

I was lucky enough to be selected to take part in the interactive read-along hosted by Tandem Collective. This experience was so unquie and honestly so much fun! Throughout the whole book we were given questions that we had to answer and discussing in a group chat our theories before reading the end of the book!

This was my first C.L. Taylor book and it will not be my last. She has such a captivating way of writing that I need more. If I had all the money in the world right now I would have ordered all of her previous works - that is how much I loved this book.

When I had finished my daily reading I had to fight myself to carry on. When I wasn't reading it, I was thinking about it constantly. I wanted to know what was happening to these characters and figure out who had done what.

I really liked our main characters and each had something unique about them. I loved seeing over time how these characters linked and how realistic they were.

I could honestly sit here all day talking about how much I loved this book and what plot lines I loved but I want you to go and read this book.

Strangers is a intense, addictive and gripping thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat and constantly questioning motives. Just when you think you've got the answer, C.L. Taylor flips the game and you have no idea where you stand.
