About Illumicrate and my journey as a subscriber...
Illumicrate are a monthly subscription box based in the UK. They are dedicated to bringing you the best new releases and each month you'll receive a carefully curated monthly box with a newly released book and around 4-6 bookish goodies.
I've only been subscribed to Illumicrate for a couple of months and also get their Illumicrate x Fable & Black Pin Club (where you receive a book themed enamel pin every month). However, in the space of that small time I am incredibly impressed by their customer service and how swift they are in getting out their subscriptions.
So, let's have a look at what was in December's box! Please be aware that from here there may be spoilers if you have not yet received your box!

2020 Calender which is absolutely stunning and contains a lot of book fandoms! It contains artwork by @merwild and quotes and the design of the calender by @chattynora
This months's collectible coin is Kaz from The Six of Crows which was designed by @monolimeart
The book for this month is Blood Heir by Amelie Wen Zhao. This edition comes with exclusive stencilled edges, exclusive end pages signed by the author and an authors letter.
My thoughts on this month's box...
I really liked this box and the items that came in it. The book is gorgeous and I am obsessed with the sprayed edges! I mean just look at them!
I love the quality of all the items, especially the pins and the calender!
The unboxing does make it look like there isn't many items included but each item is well designed and you do get your money's worth, especially with the mug and calender!
