FairyLoot Collector's edition box - The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black

FairyLoot is a monthly subscription box based in the UK run by a small yet passionate team. The boxes focus solely on fantasy novels with a different theme each month. The boxes includes 5-6 carefully selected goodies along with a Young Adult or Young Adult crossover book.

This is the second Collector's Edition box they've done and I was extremely excited to get this box. FairyLoot collaborated with Holly Black to bring a box full of officially license products revolving around The Folk of the Air series.

While this box is more expensive that their normal monthly boxes it is honestly worth paying that little bit extra for a box that is curated around one series, especially if it is one that you absolutely love.

Please be aware of spoilers ahead if you haven't already recieved your box...

Item's included in this box...

  • A beautiful Cardan and Jude mug featuring artwork by @monolimeart and is absolutely perfect!

  • A woodland book sleeve with a zip to protect your books. This features a beautiful quote by Holly Black and was designed by @stellabookishart

  • An Elfhame enamel pin which was designed by @dustandpages

  • A wooden bookmark which is double sided and features artwork of Cardan by @monolimeart and lettering by @stellabookishart.

  • An absolutely gorgeous art print of Jude and Cardan by @merwildandco

  • My favourite item, a reading blanket (to the right) which features a design by @arz28. It's absolutely huge and I really struggled to get it into a picture! It's also incredibly soft!

  • The final item was the FairyLoot special edition of The Queen of Nothing. This edition features a completely redesigned cover with a stunning foiled snake at the front. The snake on the spine of the continues through the stenciled sprayed edges and I am absolutely obsessed! The book comes with a ribbon bookmark and signed bookplate. FairyLoot have also announced that they will be releasing the first two books in the trilogy with the same design so keep an eye out for them!

My thoughts on the box...

I really loved this box and was happy with the quality and effort that was put into this box.

We were given a completely new design for the book which is honestly breathtaking and I cannot wait to see what the other books in the series will look like.

The blanket is by far my favourite item but I think that is because I have an obsession with blankets in general! It's a good size and has a good feel to it. The artwork is just gorgeous and I am in love with it!

I will never say no to booksleeves and bookmarks as these are things that I use on a regular basis. The mug is stunning and I love all of Monolimeart's work, so was super happy to now have a mug with her artwork on it!

Finally, I'm a sucker for all things pins and art prints. They make perfect props and the pin has gone straight onto my pin banner!
